Tangled begins with Flynn Rider explaining the significance of the golden flower. He says "Once upon a time, a single drop of sunlight fell from the heavens. And from this small drop of sun grew a magic golden flower. It had the ability to heal the sick and injured.” But, the queen "got sick, really sick. She was running out of time, and that’s when people                                                             usually start to look for a miracle, or in                                                       this case, a magic golden flower.” The                                                         magic of the golden flower healed the                                                         queen. A healthy baby girl, a princess,                                                         was born, with beautiful golden hair."                                                         First of all, the single drop of sunlight                                                         falls from the Heavens. James 1:7 says,                                                       "Every good and perfect gift is from                                                           above, coming down from the Father of                                                       the heavenly lights, who does not                                                                 change like shifting shadows." This gift from above in Tangled is good and perfect in that it saves the queen from her sickness during her pregnancy and Rapunzel is able to be born. This also goes along with the lyrics "All good gifts around us are sent from Heaven above," meaning that the things we need and things that are good to us come from Heaven; from God. We can trust him because we know that he will send us these perfect gifts when he knows we really need them. The powers of the drop of sunlight were passed on to Rapunzel when she was born, which gave her healing powers in her hair, and are later seen in her tears. She heals Flynn Rider's hand with her hair and heals him with her tears when he dies. These healing powers can be compared to Jesus and his power to heal the sick and injured. "If we read more widely in the gospels we see a Jesus whose ministry included a wide range of healing: among others he healed a paralyzed man, a leper, a man with a shrivelled hand, a mentally ill man who lived in the tomb, a deaf man, a blind man and a boy whom today we would describe as an epileptic." This shows that Rapunzel is like Jesus in how they can both heal the sick and wounded.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
