Conclusion

If we know anything about Disney movies, it is that it "does not shy away from depicting religion," and "Tangled" is no exception. It is evident that religion is extremely prominent in the Disney movie "Tangled." It is seen within the characters, different scenes throughout the movie, and heard in the songs. This movie can relate to how Christians feel with their relationship with God when they feel frustrated. We even see the themes of sacrificial love with Flynn Rider and Rapunzel and the theme good vs. evil through Rapunzel and Mother Gothel. Although we may not realize it while we are watching a movie, most have obvious comparisons and representations of religion, whether they were intentional or not. Sometimes we have to look a little deeper to find them, but religion can always be found
